Cooperation : Moscow – Ashgabat: two capitals build the bridge of co-operation
 
On August 3, Ashgabat Khyakim Orazov D. met with Russian delegation representing the government of Moscow in Turkmenistan.

The Russian guests demonstrated a deep interest in dynamically developing Turkmenistan and its capital amazed them with the large-scale reforms carried out in the main city of the country. The members of the delegation expressed the readiness of the Russian businessmen to invest various sectors of national economy including urban planning and construction of large processing facilities in the country. The guests brought forward a proposal to open trade houses in Moscow and Ashgabat that would promote developing trading relations between the producers of two countries.

During the meeting the interlocutors emphasized the necessity of strengthening cultural relations between two friendly countries. In this concern the representatives of Moscow government stated that newspaper “Turkmenistan today” had been established and soon would be issued. So the numerous Turkmen diaspora residing in Russian Federation will be informed of all events taking place in their historic homeland.

Within the framework of the visit the Russian guests will see the sights of the Turkmen capital and visit national museums, ropeway and large trading centers.
