On October 10, the ceremony of putting the first building of the newly-constructed ones in Ashgabat into operation on the eve of the 16th anniversary of Turkmenistan independence was held in Ashgabat. The Sehil Company (Turkey) built a four-storeyed white-marble apartment house by request of the Turkmenpagta State Concern.

The specialists of Turkmenpagta State Concern bought the majority of 24 two- and three-room apartments with the area of 75-100 square meters through a mortgage credit. The municipal khyakimlik will sell the rest of the apartments to the people of Ashgabat. The kitchens and water closets are supplied with the necessary equipment and household appliances. The apartments are connected to the telephone network and the centralized heat and air conditioning systems. The house has the lifts. Trees and shrubs are planted in the adjacent territory. There are the benches and lamps amongst the green lawns, the playing and sports grounds, an underground parking lot and a special area for conducting various events nearby the house. It is the fifth construction project financed by the Turkmenpagta State Concern in recent years. By request of the Turkmenpagta State Concern two more high-rise apartment buildings are under construction in the southern part of Ashgabat.

The comfortable apartment houses, the second turn of the textile complex, the KAMAZ Service Center and the hotels for transit air passengers will be constructed in the northern part of Neutrality Avenue within the next few years. The fountain at the intersection of the highway and Hero of Turkmenistan Atamurat Niyazov Avenue is under reconstruction. The fountain to be a landmark of the Turkmen capital will be opened in a few months.

The administrative buildings and modern supermarkets will be constructed in the rapidly developing residential area. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov approved the construction projects during the working trip around Ashgabat.
