On reorganization of the National Institute of State Statistics and Information of Turkmenistan

With the view to improve the public administration system and scientific and economic forecasting I enact:

1. After the National Institute of State Statistics and Information of Turkmenistan (Turkmenmillihasabat) is reorganized to sort out and organize the research departments into the Institute of Strategic Planning and Economic Development of Turkmenistan.

2. To change the title of the National Institute of State Statistics and Information of Turkmenistan (Turkmenmillihasabat) to the State Committee for Statistics of Turkmenistan.

3. The State Committee for Statistics of Turkmenistan shall be the legal successor in the rights and obligations of the National Institute of State Statistics and Information of Turkmenistan (Turkmenmillihasabat).

4. The State Committee for Statistics of Turkmenistan shall transfer the building situated on 79, Magtumguly Avenue, Ashgabat city with the property to the Institute of Strategic Planning and Economic Development of Turkmenistan in accordance with the established procedure.

5. To consider the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan № 3095 of April 21, 2000 ”On Reorganization of the National Institute of Statistics and Forecasting of Turkmenistan into the National Institute of State Statistics and Information of Turkmenistan” stale.
