The representatives of the Columbia University, Harriman University Vice Chancellor Katerina Nepomnyashchiy and Bernard College Slavonic Department Chairperson Professor Ann Windy Olin sent a letter to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.

The letter says “We had great pleasure to receive you within our walls as you were the first President of Turkmenistan who visited the Columbia University. We are very grateful to you for the invitation to visit Turkmenistan and the higher educational establishment in your country that we accepted with gratitude.”
