Business partners’ meeting

The Turkmen and Iranian businessmen participated in a business forum arranged within the framework of the specialized exhibition of the goods of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Turkmen businessmen and their colleagues from the neighbouring country and the specialists of the governmental organisations and agencies discussed the topical issues of further development and enhancement of bilateral mutually advantageous relations in the conference hall of the Exhibition Center in Ashgabat.

The participants were unanimous that friendship, good neighbourliness, mutual benefit as well as the fruitful personal contacts between President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad underlay the current Turkmen-Iranian relations. Those speaking noted that the 15-year fruitful experience of co-operation was based on successful large-scale joint projects.

During the forum the specialists from Turkmenistan and Iran presented on the procedures of establishing the trade and economic relations and conducting the commercial operations on foreign markets, the aspects of taxation, the banking and exchange operations, the specifics of the customs and quarantine regulations in both countries.
