The Ministry of Culture of Broadcasting Activities of Turkmenistan and the Embassy of Federal Republic of Germany to Turkmenistan organised the Christmas concert at the Magtymguly Turkmen National Music and Drama Theater.

The concert program included the works created by Franc Shubert, Johannes Brahms, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovskiy and the popular compositions of the other outstanding composers. Famous pianist, laureate of the N. Halmamedov International Contest Vladimir Mkrtumov who brilliantly conveyed the beauty of the world classical masterpieces presented the solo performance. The young artists, graduators and students of the Turkmen National Conservatoire and Music College took part in the concert.

The audience thanked the musicians with a storm of applause. The music brings the peoples closer to each other in their aspiration for beauty, harmony and high ideals therefore the concert became a symbol of friendship and cultural co-operation between Turkmenistan and Germany.
