The Embassy of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation and the Moscow Society of Turkmen Culture gave an official reception on occasion of the 12th anniversary of Turkmenistan neutrality and Students’ Day in Moscow. The scientists and cultural workers, the leaders of the Turkmen diasporas residing in Russia, the representatives of the public organisations, the students from Russia and the young citizens of Turkmenistan, who studied at the educational establishments in Russia, were invited to the ceremony arranged at the Moscow Society of Turkmen Culture.
The participants were unanimous that the neutral status of Turkmenistan was a key factor for peace and stability in the Central Asian region. Turkmenistan’s peace loving policy conformed to the common interests in maintaining and enhancing security and stability in the region and helped to establish mutually beneficial relations with the countries worldwide. The guests emphasized that Russia respected the policy of permanent neutrality pursued by Turkmenistan.
The participants emphasized that the opening of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Ashgabat testified to the international community’s high trust in Turkmenistan. The recently established structure that had no analogues all over the world was called upon to be an effective instrument for maintaining peace, security and stability in one of the most important regions of the world.
The best Turkmen dishes and the Turkmen folk and popular music were presented to the participants and guests at the reception hall of the Embassy of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation. |
