President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul.

Greeting the Turkmen leader Abdullah Gul cordially congratulated Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov on the coming New Year and wished good health and success in all undertakings and initiatives. Taking an opportunity the Turkish leader expressed gratitude for the hospitality and cordiality extended during his official visit to Turkmenistan.

Thanking for the heartfelt congratulations Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov cordially congratulated Abdullah Gul on the coming New Year and wished happiness and wellbeing.

Durng the telephone conversation the leaders of the friendly countries reaffirmed the adherence to intensification and expansion of bilateral co-operation meeting the interests of the peoples of Turkmenistan and Turkey.

Upon concluding the conversation Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and Abdullah Gul exchanged the heartfelt congratulations on the coming New Year and the wishes of peace, happiness and wellbeing to the peoples of the friendly countries.
