The President of Turkmenistan issued the special Resolution authorizing the International Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan to accept the official invitation to take part in the XXIX Olympic Games, which will be held in Beijing, the People Republic of China on August 8-24.

The State Committee of Turkmenistan for Tourism and Sports and the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan are authorized: to select the outstanding sportsmen able to win the berths for the Olympic Games in the qualifying tournaments and submit the membership of the national team of Turkmenistan for endorsement by the Cabinet of Ministers;

to submit the samples of the sportswear of the members of the national team of Turkmenistan, who will take part in the official ceremonies of opening and closing the Olympic Games, for endorsement by the Government of Turkmenistan by March 1, 2008.
