Sport & Tourism : Turkmenistan’s rival draws with the 2007 AFC Cup champion
 
Turkmenistan’s rivals in the 2010 World Cup group qualifying tournament – Jordan made a draw 1-1 in the friendly match with the AFC Cup champion – Iraq. The match was held in Dubai (UAE). Iraq striker Ahmad Mnajed opened the scoring in the 19th minute only for Mahmoud Shelbaieh to equalise for Nelo Vingada’s on the hour mark.

Jordan, Turkmenistan, South Korea and Korea DPR were drawn into Group 3. On February 6, Turkmenistan will play versus the 2007 Asian Cup bronze winner South Korea in Seoul and Jordan will play against DPR Korea.

Turkmenistan and Jordan will play in Amman on March 26 and June 22.

The top teams will take part in the next round of the 2010 World qualification tournaments.
