In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan the Turkmenenergo State Energy Corporation of the Ministry of Energy and Industry of Turkmenistan is authorized to conclude the contract for design and construction of a gas turbine power plant with the capacity of 254 MWt and the group of substations amounted to 217.58 million euros including VAT with Lotus Proje Akaryakit Enerji Madencilik Telekominikasyon Insaat Sanayi Taahhut ve Ticaret A.S. (Turkey). The construction works are to start in May 2008 and the facilities are to be put into operation in May 2010.
