President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave the greeting address to participants of the international painting and jewelry exhibition Turkmenistan and Masterpieces of World Art, which opened at the Exhibition Centre in Ashgabat.
Congratulating participants on opening the forum and wishing successful work the Turkmen leader focuses on particular concern the Government shows over preservation of the artistic heritage and development of modern culture and art in the country noting that the sources of fine, jewellers’ and monumental arts of the Turkmen people date back to the extreme antiquity.
“The vents taking place in different period of the social, political and cultural life of the Turkmen people are reflected in the extant works of arts. Putting their hearts and soul in them our compatriots created them with remarkable inspiration. The canvases created by Byashim Nurali, Izzat Klychev, Yakub Annanurov, Aykhan Hajiev, Niyazberdy Dovodov, the sculptural works by Juma Jumadyrdy have been referred to as classical for a long time. In due time their works profoundly encouraged the Turkmen people, led them to the bright future.
“In recent years a young generation of talented Turkmen artists, jewellers, masters of other kinds of arts has grown up. We are very glad that there are many painters, sculptures, ceramists, designers, jewellers – the talented students of the well-known craftsmen, tutors, their successors, demonstrating their talents in various regions of the country, etraps and velayats.
“In sovereign Turkmenistan particular significance is attached to the tasks of developing culture and art. The achievements gained in national economy and culture within a short period leads to steady enhancement of Turkmenistan’s international prestige.
“It is profoundly symbolical that the present international exhibition is timed to Unity, Revival and Magtymguly’s Poetry Day. In his time Fragi inspiringly practiced such a fine craft as jewellers’ art and found the greatest pleasure in it. The prominent thinker reflecting the dream about the united Turkmen state in his deeply philosophical poems was a talented jeweller, the silver wear jewelry he created embodied the inner world of a Turkmen woman and creativity of the people,” the address says. |
