The cabinet ministers and the high-ranking officials of the textile ministries and departments congratulated President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on occasion of Textile Worker Day traditionally celebrated throughout the country.

Cordially congratulating the Turkmen leader on the nationwide holiday the high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Textile Industry assured the President that Turkmen textile workers would spare no effort, talent and knowledge to multiply the worldwide fame of Turkmen textile.

Those speaking wished the President good health, vigour and inexhaustible energy for the successful fulfillment of the grandiose plans for the benefit and happiness of the Motherland.

Thanking for the congratulations and heartfelt wishes Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished those present at the meeting and friendly labour collective of many thousands of the youngest and most promising sector of Turkmen economy the new accomplishments in further developing and increasing the productive potential. The President emphasized that for these purposes the Government would keep taking the resolute steps so that Turkmenistan would expand on the world textile market. The International Exhibition, which would be opened in the Turkmen capital on Textile Worker Day and present the high-quality goods produced by the national textile enterprises and the latest fashion collections created by the Turkmen and well-known foreign designers, would demonstrate the country’s achievements in this sector.

The Turkmen leader said that Turkmenistan had every opportunity and condition to ensure further growth of textile industry, diversification of the range of the products meeting the international standards. Focusing on the tasks set to Turkmen textile industry Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the necessity to accelerate the activity based on the country’s profound resource potential and the current market situation that dictated to steadily increase production of textile goods of great demand worldwide. Upon concluding the meeting Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished those present and Turkmen textile workers success, happiness and good health and expressed belief that Turkmen textile workers would maintain the high reputation.
