President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who was on a visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Medvedev.

Greeting the Turkmen leader Dmitriy Medvedev cordially congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on his birthday and wished good health, happiness and outstanding accomplishments in the important work at the highest political post.

Thanking for the congratulations Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that Dmitriy Medvedev’s visit was looked forward to in Turkmenistan. Putting emphasis on the high level of the Turkmen-Russian relationships considerably intensified and entered the qualitatively new stage in recent years the Turkmen leader expressed belief that the coming top level talks in Ashgabat would offer a powerful incentive to foster fruitful co-operation.
