President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who was on a visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul.

President Abdullah Gul cordially congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on his birthday and wished good health, inexhaustible vigour and success in all his noble undertakings. The Turkish leader said that the people of Turkey were sincerely proud of the achievements the fraternal people of Turkmenistan gained on the way of progressive changes and reforms.

Thanking for the congratulations and heartfelt words the Turkmen leader expressed belief that the ties of friendship and fruitful co-operation between Turkmenistan and Turkey would be enhanced and developed for the common benefit.

In conclusion the leaders exchanged the wishes of peace, happiness and wellbeing of the peoples of Turkmenistan and Turkey.
