President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated the people of Turkmenistan on Harvest Day – Galla Bayramy.

In his congratulatory address the Turkmen leader says in particular, “In Turkmenistan farmers’ accomplishments are highly honoured that encourages them to achieve the higher results in agricultural sector. Owing to that we see wheat fields shot with gold and pleasing to the eye spreading over the Turkmen valleys today.

“Today the large-scale agricultural reforms have been initiated in the country, and we attach paramount significance to farmers’ labour. Grain grown with their selfless labour is the prosperity of Turkmen families, plenty of grain – a guarantee of peace and welfare, the unshakable foundations of our Motherland that becomes stronger with every passing day.”

Addressing Turkmen farmers the Turkmen leader emphasizes “You are to fulfill the important tasks, you must make profound contribution to the reforms of our flourishing country. “A state for the people!” is our major principle; therefore we will do all that is in our power for your peaceful constructive labour so that you can use the fruits of your work and live in abundance. I believe you will justify the confidence granted to you and return productive labour and rich harvests of agricultural crops for the state support. That will be your contribution to strengthening the foundations of independent neutral Turkmenistan, ensuring the peaceful and happy life of the Turkmen people.”
