The presentation of the latest technologies demanded by dynamically developing Turkmenistan was organized by the Supreme Council for Science and Technology under President of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education and Turkish Polimeks.
The cabinet ministers, the high-ranking officials and specialists of the national ministries and departments, the chancellors of the higher educational establishments and the directors of the research institutions, the representatives of the public organizations, members of the Galkynysh National Movement and journalists gathered in the assembly hall of Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
The meeting arranged with the assistance of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the grandiose achievements of dynamically developing Turkmenistan that was resolutely advancing towards the progress and applying advanced technologies. Those speaking at the meeting emphasized that Turkmenistan attached paramount importance to construction and equipment of schools and higher educational establishment with the latest scientific and technological advances.
Addressing the meeting Polimeks CEO Erol Tabanja reaffirmed the company’s willingness to expand mutually advantageous co-operation with Turkmenistan, particularly in the new field of partnership – advanced technologies.
The limitless potential of these technologies were presented in a special film that prologued the presentation of four innovative projects.
These included the centralized quick computerization system to be used at government organisations, schools, hospitals and other institutions. The partner in the project is one of the world’s innovative technology designers – ChipPC.
The technology based on the use of the high-velocity intelligent processor and centralized provider is the latest global trend in computerization. This project will enable to computerize the institutions throughout Turkmenistan. It allows using widely computer equipment and ensures information security and remote technological assistance including virus protection.
Creating the wireless communication network in country is a very promising trend based on Turkmenistan’s achievements in establishing the telecommunication infrastructure including fiber-optic communication lines and digital telephone exchanges. The project introducing the WiMAX system was presented. It will enable collect a wide range of the information from all the country including the parameters of economic development, the personal data of citizens, the data on border and oil and gas pipeline security, etc.
Upon introducing the card with the special chip – Turkmen card containing the data about its holder: citizenship, driving license, state of health and even the group of blood will allow increasing the people’s welfare and facilitating the centralized activity in the country.
A card will contain any other information at the request of the relevant government institutions of Turkmenistan and can be used by students and teachers to access to the educational information, to pay salaries and pensions, to track petrol consumption and to travel by public transport.
The meeting concluded in presenting the project of a technoTown for the centralized communication management, control and security system. Technoparks are the structures founded to foster innovations and competitiveness of the institutions and organisations using the services facilitating and promoting the circulation of the information and technologies among clients, countries, educational establishments and research centres.
Thanking for the presentations the Turkmen scientists shared the achievements in introducing of innovative technologies and noted that the projects create incentives for a technological breakthrough. |
