President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov issued the Decree on the establishment of Day of Defenders of Motherland enacting:

1. To establish Day of Defenders of Motherland – the personnel of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan and to celebrate it each year on January 27

2. Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan is to ensure the celebrations of Day of Defenders of Motherland at the high level of organisation.


President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov issued the Decree on the establishment of Day of Border Guards enacting:

1. To establish Day of Border Guards and to celebrate it each year on August 11.

2. The State Border Service of Turkmenistan is to ensure the celebrations of Day of Border Guards at the high level of organisation.
