President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov issued the Decree on the opening of the branch of I. M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in Ashgabat enacting:

In accordance with the proposals set forth in the Protocol “On the Opening of the Branch of I. M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in Ashgabat city (Turkmenistan)” signed on July 4, 2008 by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Federal Agency of the Russian Federation for Education

1. To open the branch of I. M. Gubkin Russian State Institute of Oil and Gas in Ashgabat.

2. Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is authorized to provide overall assistance and monitor the activity of the branch of I. M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in Ashgabat.

3. Vice premier H. Saparliev and Vice Premier T. Tagiev are authorized to control the execution of this Decree.


The President of Turkmenistan issued the Decree approving the Procedures of managing the activity of the branch of I. M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in Ashgabat. The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is authorized to admit and educate students to the branch starting from the 2008-2009 academic year.
