
The first two issues of Asudalygyn goragynda Journal (On the Watch of Law and Order) founded by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan in accordance with the Resolution of the President appeared in print.
The quarterly periodical targets law enforcement officers as well as a broader readership. The journal informs of the basic trends and major tasks set to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, law enforcement agencies standing as the guarantor of the peaceful, quiet and constructive life of the people of Turkmenistan.
The first issue of the journal is timed to the professional holiday celebrated in Turkmenistan for the first time – Day of Law Enforcement Officer. In the address to Turkmen guardians of law President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the significance of the new periodical, its important role in covering the fundamental reforms going on in the country especially in the legal sphere, and bringing a younger generation of the Turkmen people to love and faithfully serve the Motherland.
The issues contain the materials on the Second meeting of the internal ministers of the ECO member countries (Economic Co-Operation Organisation), which was held in Ashgabat this May, the political and social action of wrecking the building of the municipal jail in the town of Turkmenbashi. The readers can find the articles dedicated the everyday service of Turkmen law enforcement officers, the issues of training highly qualified personnel, the cultural and sports events on the pages of the fresh issues. Thus, the Journal helps to have the clear view of the work of the police, traffic police, fire service and other subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The periodical contains numerous colourful illustrations supplementing the materials published in the Journal.
