People & Health : Trade and service infrastructure expanded

One more shopping centre will expand the trade and service infrastructure of the Turkmen capital in less than a year and a half. The project amounted to about US$ 12 million and financed by the Turkmenmallary Association and the Turkmengallaonumleri Association will be implemented by the Gerkem Insaat Sanayi we Tijaret Ltd Company (Turkey).

The new shopping centre will spring up in the southwest of Ashgabat on Garashsyzlyk Shayoly forming the single architectural ensemble with the apartment houses under construction there at the request of the building owners – Turkmenmallary Association and the Turkmengallaonumleri Association. According project designers the shopping centre is a complex of three blocks ‘dressed’ in white marble, dark granite and tinted glass. Two of them will be connected with the two-storey gallery, the first layer will be open-ended.

The first two floors will house the shops offering a great variety of food products and goods domestically produced for the most part. There will be a cozy restaurant on the second and third floors. The centre will house the offices, administrative premises, back and storage rooms and storehouses. In a word, the comfortable conditions will be created for clients as well as personnel.

The adjacent territory will be planted and improved. It will be adorned with decorative fountains, green lawns and bright flower beds. There will be the auxiliary premises and partaking lot in the adjacent territory.
Thus, in Ashgabat the trade and service infrastructure is being developed meeting the international standards and complying with the status of the megalopolis, the capital of an economically developed country.
