The Leader of Uzbekistan was met by officials in Turkmenbashy International Airport decorated with the State flags of both countries. The Guards of Honour were lined up along the carpet way from the plane to greet the Head of Uzbekistan. According to the tradition, high-ranking guest was welcomed by boy and girl in national dress who presented bread and salt and flowers.
Now, Turkmenistan has 12 medals (two gold, four silver and six bronze) what holds strongly the 12th position in total team count.
Owing to the last win over Algeria (15:10), women team would be also presented in the final round.
From the Turkmenbashi international airport, where the head of the state was met by officials, the nation's leader went to the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
The leader of Tatarstan thanked the delegation members for taking part in the forum and conveyed his gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for specific emphasis placed on the issues of development of the bilateral cooperation with Tatarstan.
The objective of the summit attended by over 2000 high ranking guests from 50 countries: diplomats; representatives of financial institutions; members of parliaments; investors and businessmen; journalists, is to strengthen commercial and economic, scientific and technical, social and cultural ties between Russian and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. One of the most efficient ways of promoting such ties is cooperation in the sports industry.
On May 21 elections of the Mejlis deputies, as well as members of the Halk Maslakhaty and the Gengesh will be held in separate constituencies
Divisional election committees will work on May 21 from 7a.m to 19 p.m. Within 10 days prior to the official date of the election, citizens of Turkmenistan who would not be able to be in their place of residence for some reasons on that day, have been given the right to vote ahead of schedule.

Head of Turkmenistan and President of Japan’s University of Tsukuba Discuss Aspects of Cooperation in Science and Education
President of one of the leading universities of the Land of the Rising Sun also stated that, along the large-scale state activity, the head of Turkmenistan conducts significant development and research activities, and makes a personal contribution to the establishment of humanitarian cooperation. As is known, during the working visit to Japan in March 2015, for promoting international academic program for mutual exchange in the field of education and research, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received an honorary doctorate from the University of Tsukuba.
