Having announced the Agenda, the Head of the State gave floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Hojammamedov who reported on macroeconomic indices for the first half of 2017. The Vice- Premier informed that the growth of the GDP made 6.4 percent for the period under review. The index was increased for 3.2 percent in industrial complex, 4 percent on construction, 10.9 percent in transport and communication sector, 9.4 in trade, 2.8 in agriculture and 10.3 in service sphere.

Over the period since the beginning of the year, necessary steps have been taken to promote reforms aimed at bringing our country to the level of developed democratic states of the world, the Head of State said.
The head of the state temporarily entrusted the duties of the Minister of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan to the Deputy Minister of Construction and Architecture, Charyyar Durdymyradovich Ahmedov.
Salaries, scholarships, pensions and social benefits will increase by 10 percent from January 1st, 2018
The minimum amount of pensions for participants in the Great Patriotic War will be set at 1169 manat per month; the minimum amount of pensions for spouses of participants in the Great Patriotic War and workers of the homefront - in the amount of 343 manats per month; the base amount for determining the minimum amount of pensions is 279 manat; The base value for calculation of state benefits is 266 manat. The minimum wage for Turkmenistan will be 715 manat.
The project of the Programme of social and economic development of the country for 2018 – 2024 is under elaboration
Improvement of the efficiency of the investments, use of all existing means and capabilities for stable growth, sustainable development of the regions, increase of export volumes, production of import substitutive goods, intensification of market relations, in particular rapid development of non-governmental sector of the economy are defined among the main objectives. A the same time, the project of the Programme reflects such priority directions as implementation of advanced practices and innovative technologies in all branches as well as full involvement of intellectual potential of the nation.
The above-mentioned commission is assigned to carry out organizational and methodological management over enrolment to high and secondary professional institutions in 2017. Hyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat city are assigned to make all necessary conditions for work of these commissions.
The Ministry of Textile Industry is assigned to increase production plans of lower enterprises of the country according to actual domestic requirements and in other cases to set the plans in monetary value.
Turkmen scientists actively work in the sphere of environmental protection, conservation of biodiversity and ecological systems, develop measures to combat desertification and land reclamation, adaptation to climate change. One of the important directions in this work is the improvement of the socio-economic and environmental situation in the Aral Sea area. Currently, recommendations are being developed on the introduction of new technologies and practices of water and nature management, agricultural production, the use of alternative energy sources. The review of this thematic spectrum was presented during the forum.
