The edition is devoted to the activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan which carries out a major role in maintenance of law, public order and peace. In the book the history of establishment of this key body of the state system and a personal contribution of Mälikguly Berdymuhamedov who has worked in these structures and has gained a wide experience of work for many years, is highlighted.
In the spotlight
According to the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the holiday was organized by the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Natural Protection and Land Resources, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Department for the Caspian Sea Affairs under the President of Turkmenistan and administration of Balkan Velayat. The programme included scientific and practical conference, cultural, education and sports events.
For the foreign currency businessmen from Afghanistan bought motor gasoline of various marks and diesel fuel manufactured at TORC and representatives of business circles of the United Arab Emirates - technical iodine (SC "Turkmenkhimiya"). Besides it, for the foreign currency cotton oil, cotton fabric and yarn, jeans fabric, liquorice rhizomes were realised. The countries buyers: Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The total sum of transactions made up about 11 million US dollars.
It was noted at the session of financial and economic sector, where the leaders of branch ministries and departments took part, that implementation of large-scale reforms, investment projects and use of modern technologies would support the provision of high growth rates of Turkmen economy, foreign trade and incomes.
Information and Education Teenagers Centre “The Peer teaches the Peer” established in April of this year under joint initiative of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the UN Population Fund is among active participants of the youth movement in the country. The Centre is located in the building of capital Children and Youth Palace. It includes large group of volunteers of Y-PEER network from high school graduates and recent school students in the age of 15 – 24, who gained the knowledge and communication skills during special trainings. The kids actively joint this work and attend different creative classes.
