Objectives of the development of all spheres of the state life are outlined at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers
Having announced the agenda, the Head of the State gave floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Myradov who reported on the preparation of the Plan of Social and Economic Indicators of the ministries and department of Turkmensitan and Working Pland of financial, economic and banking spheres for 2018.
Technology equipment, construction materials, automobile transport, technical aids for chemical, energy, oil and gas and food industry will be demonstrated at the exhibition. Companies producing household equipment and the equipment for textile industry, health protection, involved in science and space technologies, in transport and logistics branches, providing trade services and consultancy will present their achievements.
“At present time, Turkmenistan steadily performs the objectives on the realization of this project. I accept this financial support as the continuation of your efforts for the development of our cooperation.
Having heard the information President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated the progressive dynamics of the implementation of the TAPI project, the implementation of which was of great importance in the context of the formation of a new architecture of global energy security, creating conditions for universal sustainable development.
During the meeting, the guests were briefed on the principle objectives of our country’s highest legislative body, its structure and spheres of activity in the light of extensive socio-economic transformations initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
As reported, issues of development of the interstate cooperation, including the activities of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission, have been placed on the agenda of the Turkmenistan–Pakistan political and economic consultations that took place on 15 January. The sides engaged in an extensive exchange of views on intensification of international and regional cooperation. Special emphasis has been placed on implementation of joint projects for the construction of the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India transnational gas pipeline, the fiber-optic communication and power lines along the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan route.
The large-scale work has been done to achieve the international accreditation. For several years, the experts from the Vilnius Metrology Institute and the Metrology Institute of Georgian National Agency for Standards and Metrology(GeoSTM)) jointly with the experts of the project "Support to the Alignment of Technical Regulations and Enhancement of the Quality Infrastructure in Turkmenistan" implemented by the British Standards Institution (BSI), have trained managers and specialists, performing calibrations in the field of thermometry, and awarded them with relevant certificates. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov initiates large-scale projects aimed at the development of beneficial economic relations and consolidation of international cooperation by the formation of strong transport and communication infrastructure. Today, the logistic strategy of Turkmenistan acquired specific features in the scale of entire Central Asia and the continent.
A total of 125 Mejlis deputies are to be elected around the country. For the elections of velayat Halk Maslahaty members 240 electoral districts have been created, 40 in each of velayats and the city of Ashgabat. For the elections of etrap and city Halk Maslahaty members a total of 1200 electoral districts, 20 in each etrap and city have been created, of which 160 in Akhal velayat, 260 in Balkan velayat, 220 in Dashoguz velayat, 220 in Lebap velayat, 260 in Mary velayat and 80 in the city of Ashgabat. The territories of all these districts have been defined.
