Having expressed the gratitude to the Head of the State for spared time for the meeting, the guest noted that Turkmenistan presents great interest for the business circles of foreign states due to its favourable investment climate and large-scale reforms in the country. Excellent results have been achieved in the economy including agricultural sector owing to the far-sighted policy of the Head of the State, Mark Von Pentz continued, having stated the willingness of his company to expand productive cooperation. Partners’ relations are successfully developed for 25 years, which is indicated by the participation of our company in large-scale national projects, John Deere representative highlighted.
Signing of the Agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management, Turkmen Agricultural University and John Deere International GmbH (Switzerland) on development of bilateral cooperation in educational sphere in 2018 – 2021 took place in the University. The document defines such directions of work as the improvement of educational and training practical works on modernization of agricultural sector of our country and training centre of the University, training of the lecturers, University students and specialists of the Ministry, field seminars, evaluation and assessment of new technologies, etc.
The main goal of the meeting is to improve the work of the State Quarantine Service and to support manufacturers in Turkmenistan in increasing the production of high-quality, environmentally friendly goods in the context of the state programmes on import-substitution and export-orientedness.
On behalf of the Head of the State, the Speaker of National Parliament congratulated the guest on the appointment to high diplomatic post, having wished him success in the consolidation of friendship between two nations and in activation of Turkmen – Estonian cooperation.
