Military personnel – the participants of the event, lined up in President Palace Complex awaiting for the Head of the State. The event was highlighted with special significance and symbolism by the fact that it occurred in anticipation of the Constitution Day and the Day of the State Flag, which are observed in our country as one holiday – the event that embodies spiritual and patriotic traditions of our nation.
The complex of new buildings includes 5 houses with 32 apartments each. They were built by the order of Ahal Hyakimlyk by Ahalgurluşyk Production Association and Beyik-bina and Çynar gurluşyk private companies.
According to the Resolution of the Head of the State, big industrial complex designated for processing of 5 thousand tons of fine –fibre cotton would produce 3,300 tons of “compact penye” yarn, 20 million square meters of the same fabrics including 18 mullion square meters of coloured fabrics and 3.5 million ready-made garments.
Representatives of different ministries and departments of the country, the UNDP. The UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy on Central Asia, European Union, World Bank, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Central Asia Regional Ecology Centre and other took part in the forum held in the conference hall of Archabyl Hotel in the capital.
Prior this glorious day, educational facilities of Turkmenistan held the meetings with representative of elder generation, thematic exhibitions, literature sessions. The veterans of those years as well as workers of the home front and widows received monetary awards and valuable gifts on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In addition to ammunition, Turkmenistan provided military facilities of the country with important strategic material like oil and chemical industry products, cotton, silk, glass items and agricultural crops. Local facilities arranged the manufacturing of army ammunition; more than 70 new types of industrial products that had defensive and national economy significance have been arranged in Turkmenistan.
The concert dedicated to the 145th birthday of Sergey Rachmaninov is conducted in the Big Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory
Rachmaninov studied at the Moscow Conservatory at once on two classes and graduated from both classes perfectly, having received a gold medal as a pianist and composer. The greater gift of fate was the meeting with Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, who recognized the potential of the young musician, and therefore strongly supported and promoted the student Rachmaninov. It is suffice to mention that the thesis work - opera “Aleko”, written by a budding composer on the libretto of Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko on A.S. Pushkin's poem "Gypsies", was staged on the Bolshoi Theater and had an impressive success.
