Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia Shadreck C. Luwita is accredited in Turkmenistan

On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Gulshat Mammedova received credentials from Ambassador Republic of Zambia Shadreck C. Luwita.

On behalf of the Turkmen leader, the Chairperson if the National Parliament congratulated the guest on the appointment to the high diplomatic post, wishing him every success in developing cooperation between the two states.

Thanking for the kind wishes, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings and the wishes of further prosperity to the Turkmen leader on behalf of the President of Zambia and assured that he would apply all the knowledge and skills to enhance the bilateral cooperation in the name of the two states and peoples.

According to the diplomat, the constructive initiatives put forward by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the aim to ensure the global safety, stability and further sustainable development inspired the respect and gained support at the international political arena, including in the Republic of Zambia. The world community highly evaluates Turkmenistan’s contribution to the implementation of ambitious projects on the construction of the system of intercontinental transport and energy routes.

During the meeting, the Ambassador was informed on the key areas of the state policy of Turkmenistan that focuses on widening fruitful relations with all interested countries and large international organisations, first of all the UN and its structures. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of large-scale social and economic programmes and investment projects aimed at ensuring the growth in prosperity of the Turkmen people.

The meeting participants also discussed the work of the Mejlis on the improvement of the national legal basis in the context of the ongoing complex reforms.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zambia to Turkmenistan Shadreck C. Luwita was received in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss the areas of the interstate cooperation that is of particular interest for the two states.
