Children’s contest for the best dedication to the 2017 Asian Games summed up

The creative contest among schoolchildren from all regions of the country was summed up at the Exhibition Hall of the State Academy of Arts. The contest was organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan jointly with the Central Council of Magtymguly Youth Organisation, the editorial office of the Gunesh magazine and the State Academy of Arts.

Hundreds of schoolchildren presented their paintings and poems dedicated to the 2017 Asian Games and the Year of Health and Inspiration.

Famous Turkmen poets, writers and painters attended the ceremony.

14 pupils, including the students of the Dovletliler Koshgi and Balkanabat Children’s Centres became the finalists of the creative contest.

Nine-grade pupil from Mary Velayat Maksat Muhammetgeldiyev won the grand prize for the best painting. Young painter from Tedjen in Ahal Velayat Nursoltan Gundogdyyev won the first place.

Summing up the poetry contest, the grand prize was awarded to Halbibi Satlykova representing secondary school No. 50 in Gyorogly Etrap, Dashoguz Velayat. Suleyman Hodjanepesov from specialized school No. 4 in Ashgabat won the first place.

The exposition of schoolchildren’s paintings was arranged in the Exhibition Hall of the State Academy of Arts. The best ones will be published on the pages of the Gunesh magazine.
