Children from neighbouring Uzbekistan have come to Avaza for holidays
At the international airport of the seaside city of Turkmenbashi a grand welcome ceremony for a large group of children who have arrived from the Republic of Uzbekistan for holidays in Avaza national tourist zone, took place.
The delegation from the brotherly state at the head of deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, chairman of the committee of women of Uzbekistan T.Narbaeva arrived at the invitation of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov which was made by the head of Turkmen state in the beginning of May in during the telephone conversation with President of the Republic Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev.
Then the Turkmen leader told that the children's health improving centres, cottage complexes and luxurious hotels at the ecologically clean Turkmen coast of the Caspian sea are ready to accept schoolchildren from Uzbekistan for holidays. And here today a group of nearby 100 children of various regions of neighbouring country - Bukhara, Navoi, Khoresm, Karakalpakstan - have been accommodated in children's health improving centre "Dayanch".
Besides methodologists accompanying the Uzbek schoolchildren, together with the delegation there have also arrived representatives of ministries of national education, public health services, the national broadcasting company of the Republic of Uzbekistan, studio of children's theatre "Tomosha" and others.
During the holidays young visitors of Avaza will enjoy an excursion to the resort, song and -musical and sports actions, competitions for track and field athletics and swimming, creative competitions, quizzes and competitions of young experts, literary evenings, campaigns and walking. The Uzbek schoolchildren will stay in Avaza till May 25.
Organizers of the welcoming ceremony and recreation of children - Ministries of Education, Foreign Affairs, Culture, State Sports Committee, National Centre of Trade Unions, khyakimlik of Balkan velayat and Turkmenbashi oil refineries complex.
