The construction works on the territory of the campus are under completion. Turkmenistan was represented by the team of the graduates from specialized schools of Ashgabat and Dashoguz. The quartet of young ecologists – Serdar Nepesov and Arslan Meretmuradov (specialized school No. 97, Ashgabat, Mukam Altiyev and Muhammetsydyk Abdrazakov (specialized school No. 26, Dashoguz) won bronze medals in science nomination.
International Oil and Gas University is one of the leaders of the State contest of scientific works among the youth. Leyla Yuldasheva, Ayjahan Murzyayeva, Dovran Nurmamedov and Atamurat Hojageldiyev are the authors of the best projects. The subject of two of them, which took the second and third places respectively, is related to environment protection including during urban construction.

78 joint and individual projects and developments were presented at the exhibition. The jury composed of the heads of the Academy of Sciences, Young Scientists Councils of the universities and branch scientific and research institutes were evaluating scientific values of the works.
The competition was organized in the format of the robotics trade show, which worked throughout the day. Visitors to this innovative exhibition - almost a thousand of people, received invitations. Each ticket gave the right to visitors to vote for the project they liked.
