During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of cooperation between the two countries in the political, trade-economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres.

In light of the political consultations held in Ashgabat on the same day, the diplomats reaffirmed the need to maintain regular contacts at the governmental and departmental levels.

Confidence was expressed in that the agreements reached upon the results of the consultations will be realized in practice in the near future.

The parties emphasized the effectiveness of the partnership of two countries within international and regional organizations. In this regard, the importance of mutual support of initiatives aimed at promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development was reaffirmed.

During the talks, a constructive exchange of views took place on key issues of the bilateral agenda, and the level of political and diplomatic dialogue between the two countries was evaluated. The parties noted the viability of organizing visits at high and the highest levels to expand intergovernmental ties.

The diplomats emphasized the importance of maintaining regular contact between the foreign ministries of the two countries. In this regard, the parties agreed to work on the arrangement of bilateral visits of foreign ministers.

They noted with satisfaction the constructive nature of cooperation within the framework of reputable international organizations, in particular the United Nations.

Speaking about the need to expand the bilateral legal framework for cooperation, the parties reviewed drafts of a number of documents. They discussed opportunities to intensify contacts between the parliaments of the two countries.

During the consultations, the sides thoroughly discussed opportunities for strengthening the trade-economic partnership between Turkmenistan and Bangladesh. In this regard, they explored possibilities for establishing a partnership between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The favorable areas for cooperation identified included the oil and gas sector, transport connectivity, agriculture, textile industry and others.

Special attention was paid to the prospects for developing cooperation in the fields of culture, education, and tourism.

At the conclusion of the political consultations, the importance of continuing a fruitful partnership that serves mutual interests was emphasized.

В ходе переговоров состоялся конструктивный обмен мнениями по ключевым вопросам двусторонней повестки, рассмотрен уровень политико-дипломатического диалога между двумя странами. Стороны отметили целесообразность организации визитов на высшем и высоком уровнях для расширения межгосударственных связей.

Дипломаты подчеркнули важность поддержания регулярных контактов между внешнеполитическими ведомствами двух стран. В этой связи, стороны договорились работать над организацией взаимных визитов глав МИД.

С удовлетворением подчёркнута конструктивность взаимодействия в рамках авторитетных международных структур, в частности ООН.

Говоря о необходимости расширения двусторонней договорно-правовой базы сотрудничества, стороны рассмотрели проекты ряда документов. Были обсуждены возможности активизации контактов между парламентами двух стран.

В ходе консультаций детально обсуждены возможности наращивания торгово-экономического партнерства между Туркменистаном и Бангладеш. В этой связи рассмотрены возможности налаживания партнёрства между Торгово-промышленной палатой Туркменистана и Дакской торгово-промышленной палатой. В числе перспективных направлений сотрудничества обозначены нефтегазовая отрасль, транспортная взаимосвязанность, сельское хозяйство, текстильная промышленность и другие.

Отдельное внимание уделено перспективам развития сотрудничества в области культуры, образования и туризма.

В завершение политических консультаций была подчеркнута важность продолжения плодотворного партнёрства, отвечающего взаимным интересам.

Opening the meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan Bandaru Wilsonbabu read out an address from the President of India Draupadi Murmu on the occasion of national holiday of the country. The diplomat then addressed the guests with a welcoming speech. As was emphasised, the deep cultural and historical ties between the two states are dynamically strengthening from year to year.

In his speech, the head of the diplomatic mission paid special attention to the progressive development of the Indian-Turkmen trade and economic partnership. It was noted that, based on the results of last year, the volume of mutual trade exceeded 270 million USA dollars. The Ambassador expressed the readiness of the diplomatic mission to provide every possible assistance in fully realising the potential for cooperation not only in trade, economics, and investment, but also in culture, science, and education.

The head of the diplomatic mission noted with satisfaction the growth in tourist flow from Turkmenistan to India, as well as the increase in the number of Turkmen students choosing Indian higher education institutions. In this regard, it was emphasised that the Government of India continues to provide educational scholarships and strengthen partnerships as a country of the Global South and a close friend of Turkmenistan in the region. Bandar Wilsonbabu also praised remarkable achievements of Turkmenistan.

The head of the diplomatic mission expressed sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for their invaluable contribution to the strengthening and consistent development of bilateral ties.

“The interstate dialogue between Pakistan and Turkmenistan is based on the principles of mutual respect, common civilizational values, and a shared commitment to ensuring peace, regional stability and energy security,” emphasized the Ambassador.

The head of the diplomatic mission particularly noted that Islamabad highly values Turkmenistan’s policy of permanent neutrality, its consistent efforts to promote peaceful dialogue, and expressed gratitude for constructive cooperation on international platforms.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov delivered a response address, conveying, on behalf of the country’s top leadership, the warmest congratulations to the Pakistani people and emphasizing the particular symbolism of combining the Independence Day celebration with the 150th anniversary of Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The head of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy agency recalled the roots of Turkmen-Pakistani friendship and the spiritual affinity between the two peoples. R. Meredov also noted the historical fact that Pakistan co-sponsored the historic resolution of the United Nations General Assembly in December 1995.

“Today, bilateral partnership demonstrates sustainable dynamics in the political, trade-economic, energy, transport, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Regular, trusting dialogue at the highest state level remains the main driving force behind the implementation of large-scale long-term projects,” concluded R. Meredov.

As noted in the program documents of the Halk Maslahaty sessions that have been held, education is regarded not simply as an isolated social sphere, but as a strategic sector shaping the economy of the future. Quality education is the foundation for the industrialization, digitalization and diversification of the country. And investments in the education of young people are the most reliable and long-term state investments. A real confirmation of this in practice is the widespread introduction throughout the country of modern electronic systems and interactive platforms, as well as the in-depth study of exact sciences, engineering and IT. It is also important that the training of specialists who are fluent in several foreign languages opens the way to international integration. The construction of “smart” schools, kindergartens and higher educational institutions equipped with the latest technology, for example, in the city of Arkadag, is also a vivid example of the above.

It should be noted that issues concerning the improvement of education are inseparable from national values. Therefore, education is regarded not simply as a set of skills, but as the comprehensive upbringing of a harmoniously developed individual. In this regard, the documents of the Halk Maslahaty emphasize the combination of advanced global methodologies with the richness of the national cultural and spiritual heritage, as well as the development among the younger generation of patriotism, diligence, high moral and ethical principles, and respect for the history of the country.

The view of young people as a driver of science and innovation is a correct guideline in terms of continuity between generations. Today, in Turkmenistan, all conditions are being created for young people to engage in research activities, while support is being provided for youth startups, innovative ideas and academic initiatives. Higher educational institutions and educational establishments in the country are training specialists of a new type for high-tech sectors of industry and management.

It is no coincidence that the documents of the Halk Maslahaty particularly emphasize that “our main wealth is an erudite, highly educated, physically and spiritually healthy young generation, while the modernization of the education system and the introduction of advanced technologies and world standards are our strategic priority.”

It is also necessary to note that in the fundamental materials of the Halk Maslahaty, the most important areas for improving the education system are outlined in the concept of its development, which provides for the following in the near future:

– a transition from the traditional transmission of knowledge to the development among young people of critical thinking, professional competencies and innovative potential;

– large-scale introduction of digital technologies into the educational process, the creation of electronic libraries and distance-learning platforms, and the development of IT education;

– linking theoretical education with the practical needs of the national economy (energy, industry, the agro-industrial complex and the digital sector);

– promotion of multilingualism (the study of the national heritage alongside the active acquisition of foreign languages) for the successful integration of Turkmenistan into the global scientific and economic space;

– construction of modern educational institutions, research centers and laboratories meeting international standards.

The changes taking place daily and continuously throughout real life in these areas merely confirm the correctness of the chosen path. And the strategic course set out in the documents of the Halk Maslahaty is turning the education system into a reliable bridge to the future. Reliance on knowledge, innovation and patriotism guarantees Turkmenistan stable development and a high level of competitiveness on the world stage.

Как отмечено в программных документах прошедших Халк Маслахаты образование рассматривается не просто как изолированная социальная сфера, а как стратегическая отрасль, формирующая экономику будущего. Качественное образование - это база для индустриализации, цифровизации и диверсификации страны. А инвестиции в обучение молодежи - самые надежные и долгосрочные государственные инвестиции. Реальным же подтверждением этого на практике является повсеместное внедрение в стране современных электронных систем, интерактивных платформ, углубленное изучение точных наук, инженерии и IT. Немаловажным является и то, что подготовка специалистов, свободно владеющих несколькими иностранными языками, открывает путь к международной интеграции. Строительство «умных» школ, детских садов и вузов, оснащенных по последнему слову техники, например, в городе Аркадаг также яркий пример вышесказанному.

Следует отметить, что вопросы совершенствования образования неотрывны от национальных ценностей. The «Avaza» National tourist zone, which has become a true pearl of world tourism thanks to the tireless efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Hero-Arkadag, and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is one such healing and fertile spot. The large-scale work undertaken in Avaza for the benefit of the country and its people is of universal significance, and the exemplary infrastructure created evokes sincere gratitude and a deep sense of appreciation among our compatriots.

The summer holiday season in the year «Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses», filled with magnificent celebrations and significant events, serves as clear confirmation of this. The specialists at these high-class hotels, whose infrastructure includes medical and health departments, recreation and wellness centres, family-friendly cottages, and the «Avaza» sanatorium, warmly welcome guests and ensure all necessary services are provided at the highest level.

Incidentally, the health centres of children of this corner of the Caspian sea, which adorn the Turkmen coast, recently successfully completed their summer vacation season. Hundreds of children from all regions of the country, as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, vacationed in Avaza in several stages. An atmosphere of fun and joy reigned during organised games, cultural and sports events, excursions, talent competitions and creative competitions. Similar exciting events for children at a high level were held at the health and entertainment centres of regions of the country located in Avaza - «Ahal», «Balkan», «Daşoguz», «Lebap», «Mary», as well as at the «Daýanç» centre of the National centre of trade unions of Turkmenistan and the «Arzuw» centre of the Turkmenbashy complex of oil refineries.

Experts note that despite the current summer season coming to an end, the flow of visitors to the «Avaza» National tourist zone is not drying up.
