Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex is planning to start the production of Jet A-1 fuel. This is European analogue pf TC-1 fuel made by the facility. Jet A-1 fuel is designated for gas turbine engines of European and North American aircrafts. It is included to international documents and operation manuals of Airbus and Boeing aircrafts.

The difference of this type of fuel from TC-1 jet fuel used by the civil aviation of our country is mainly in production technology. Jet A-1 fuel undergoes additional hydro treatment and antistatic and stabilizing additives are used in its composition. It is more eco-friendly and the pour point is 10 Degrees higher. The Complex has announced a tender for arrangement of production of new fuel.

The structure of Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex includes two facilities, numerous oil terminals and gas stations. For the first two months of 2021, 34,857 tons of jet fuel have been made at Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex.
