Daşoguzpagta Production Association’s cotton-ginning enterprises are now preparing for the new season. The efforts are being made to keep specialized equipment in production rooms, storage facilities, loading areas well-maintained, as well as to prevent and control the accumulation of soil and mineral dust in the air and raw cotton. If necessary, ventilation and cyclone systems, pipelines, screw-type conveyors, etc. are being repaired. Highly-skilled specialists of the Dashoguz specialized repair enterprise (Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection) take an active part in the repair work contributing to enhanced product quality.   

Today, Daşoguzpagta Production Association boasts an extensive network of cotton processing facilities: nine ginneries, including a new, super-modern cotton seed processing plant with an annual capacity of 40, 000 tons and a 10,000-ton-capacity cotton storage terminal in Kounyaurgench etrap. The complex, which takes advantage of innovative technologies, is designed to supply the region’s agricultural producers with high-quality cotton seeds.    

Advanced cotton processing methods and techniques are also being adopted by ginneries. Cotton-ginning enterprises in Akdepe, Gerogly and other etraps, are tooled with state-of-the-art equipment.
