On November 13, 2025, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan. About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan.  

During the conversation, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Turkish relations, noting the high level of political dialogue and the desire to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two fraternal states.

The positive experience of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Türkiye within international and regional structures, primarily the UN and the Organization of Turkic States, was noted.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on the preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held on 12 December of the current year in Ashgabat.
