On December 10, an online seminar titled “Methods for Assessing and Testing the Physical Development of Children and Adolescents” was held at the Myrat Garryyev Turkmen State Medical University. The event brought together faculty members and students from higher education institutions across the country.
The main objective of the seminar was an in-depth discussion of scientific approaches to assessing and monitoring the physical development of the younger generation.

As specialists from the medical university emphasized, regular monitoring of the growth and health of children and adolescents is a necessary condition for the prevention and timely detection of diseases.
At the same time, the speakers highlighted the importance of this approach in shaping a long-term national strategy for strengthening public health. In this context, attention was drawn to the key role of a healthy lifestyle and balanced nutrition in disease prevention, as well as to the large-scale efforts being carried out in the country within the framework of the State Program “Saglyk.”
