Effective measures are being implemented in our country to develop the agro-industrial complex, increase agricultural production volumes, and improve the profitability of the sector.
The material and technical base of this strategic sphere is being systematically strengthened through the supply of powerful machinery, while innovative technologies are being steadily introduced into production processes, ensuring sustainable growth in agricultural performance indicators.
At the same time, special attention is paid to the high-quality preparation of land for the sowing of crops that are our national wealth—“white gold,” wheat, and others—as well as to the organized conduct of sowing within established timeframes and in strict accordance with agrotechnical requirements.
At present, farmers across the country, including those in Lebap velayat, are widely deploying preparatory work for cotton sowing. The effective use of high-performance machinery during the sowing campaign will ensure that this responsible season is carried out in a timely and high-quality manner.
It is noteworthy that by now the majority of agricultural implements belonging to the production enterprises of “Obahyzmat” in the etraps and to the daihan associations of the “Lebapobahyzmat” Production Association have already been prepared for the season.
In particular, across the velayat as a whole, 7,000 harrow-drags, 393 modern four-row seeders of the SCH-4B model, and 64 high-precision seeders of the “Monosem” brand are fully ready for sowing.
It should also be noted that work is nearing completion on preparing agricultural implements and trailers intended for inter-row cultivation of cotton in fields where seedlings have already emerged. In addition, in the velayat, 66 six-row cultivators of the “Orthman-8325” model, 33 eight-row cultivators of the “Orthman-8375” model, 991 cultivators of the KHU-4B model, 67 deep rippers, and 27 chisels have been fully technically inspected and brought to operational readiness.
As part of preparations for the upcoming campaign, special attention is being given to supplying the machinery fleet with spare parts. The required volume of components for seeders and trailed equipment is produced at the Turkmenabat Repair Plant. The plant’s products, manufactured by casting from polypropylene, aluminum, and cast iron, are distinguished by high wear resistance and low cost, which makes it possible to effectively implement import substitution.
The readiness of the farmers of Lebap velayat for spring fieldwork guarantees that cotton sowing will be carried out in strict accordance with agrotechnical standards and within the established timeframes. The successful conduct of the campaign will be a worthy contribution by rural workers to the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, which is being marked this year.
