The telecommunications company “Turkmentelecom” has announced the introduction of new functionality for virtual machines (VMs). Clients now have access to a backup system that ensures data preservation and fault tolerance for digital projects.
Backup management is fully automated and available through the personal user account. To get started, users must log in to the control panel at https://os.telecom.tm/signinos.telecom.tm. Then, in the “Machines” section, which displays a list of active resources, users should click the interaction button located to the right of the virtual machine name—this allows them to create a backup.
The system enables not only the restoration of the current machine from an archive but also the deployment of new identical resources based on the created backups using a functional button in the same section.
The cost of the service depends on the data volume and is charged on an hourly basis:
Volume 0–60 GB: 0.58 TMT per hour;
Volume 61–120 GB: 1.16 TMT per hour;
Volume 121–200 GB: 1.93 TMT per hour;
Volume 201 GB and above: 2.89 TMT per hour.
To link a domain to the control panel, the user must send an official letter to the subscriber department on behalf of the owner of the hosting control panel and the domain. After confirmation of ownership, technical department specialists will connect the domain to the personal account.
