Today, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan hosted an Appreciation Conference dedicated to the historical significance of the public lesson conducted by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, at the «Ruhyýet» Palace in the city of Arkadag.

Participants in the forum proudly emphasized that the address delivered by Hero-Arkadag during the public lesson, held on September 2, 2026, on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth and the beginning of the new 2026–2027 academic year, generated an emotional and profound spiritual uplift throughout society.

The speakers paid particular attention to the pedagogical mastery of Hero-Arkadag, who is a professor, academician, honorary doctor and honorary academician of leading universities around the world. It was noted that, as described in the novels «Älem içre at gezer» and «Döwlet guşy,» Hero-Arkadag’s grandfather, Berdimuhamet Annayev, was a courageous warrior, a respected person and an experienced teacher who established an exemplary path in the education and upbringing of the younger generation. Continuing and developing this noble legacy, Hero-Arkadag has created a model of excellence for education workers and the entire pedagogical community.

The conference participants — political scientists, teachers, university students and schoolchildren — unanimously emphasized that the public lesson was rich in profound scientific insights and imbued with patriotism, the ideas of sacred independence, peacefulness and the great historical heritage of the Turkmen people.

Particular emphasis was placed on the fact that the life path of Berdimuhamet Annayev, the great-grandfather of the country’s President; the life lessons of his grandfather, Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov; the high skill and nobility of his grandmother, Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova; as well as the family traditions of his mother, Ogulgerеk Berdimuhamedova, constitute an invaluable heritage of the entire nation. The participants noted that the principles of patriotism and humanism put into practice by Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar serve as a school of upbringing for the younger generation, establishing an unbroken connection between the past, present and future.

At the conclusion of the conference, the participants adopted an Address to the President of Turkmenistan and to Hero-Arkadag, expressing their wishes for further success in improving the national education system.
