Central Bank of Turkmenistan minted gold and silver jubilee coins “Chairmanship of Turkmenistan in the Commonwealth of Independent States” with a face value of 50 and 20 manats. New numismatic products, which number came to 200 copies each, were made by the “Royal Mint” of Great Britain.
Gold coins with diameter of 38.61 mm have 39.94 grams in weight. They differ by quite high standard – 916.7. Silver coins were made from silver of 925 standards. Their weight with the same diameter comes to 28.28 grams. Certificate of Central Bank of Turkmenistan attached to them guarantees high quality of coins – “proof”.
