The awarding ceremony of regular winners of the annual program “US Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation” was held in the conference hall of the US Embassy in Turkmenistan. Winners of this program are the projects put forward by the Turkmen national conservatoire and National Management of Turkmenistan for protection, study and restoration of monuments of history and culture.

First project will become a trend of the Turkmen-American cooperation in such important sphere as preservation of unique scripts of the Turkmen folk music and creation of basis for development of the collection of audio- and video-materials available in the conservatoire. They keep all genres of musical folklore and art of bakhshy collected within several decades of expeditionary work.

In accordance with the second selected project, the restoration of several parts of unique monument of the architecture of XI-XII centuries - Dayahatyn caravanserai located in Lebap province on the verge of Garagum desert and left bank of Amyderya River will become the object of the Turkmen-American cooperation. Moreover, it is planned to create virtual reconstruction in 3D format of several variants of appearance of caravanserai on various stages of its existence. Results of the project will be published in scientific publications and mass media.
