The delegation of the Republic of India that arrived in the Turkmen capital led by Minister of Human Resource Development and Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of India Kapil Sibal was received at the Government of Turkmenistan.

The issues of further enhancement of the traditional Turkmen-Indian cooperation were discussed during the meeting. Particular attention was paid to the partnership in the scientific, educational and communication spheres. It was underlined the necessity of establishing close relations in the sphere of information technologies given the fact that India is one of the world leaders in this sphere. In this context, the guests expressed the readiness to share their experience and the most advanced technologies and developments in various spheres with their Turkmen colleagues.

During their visit to Ashgabat the members of the delegation of the Republic of India took part in the VI International Scientific Conference “Turkmenistan and world information and communication systems” held in the Turkmen capital.
