At the request of Vice Premier A. Egeleev President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip round the Turkmen capital to see the progress in implementing the urban development programme. During the trip the Vice Premier reported on fulfillment of the Turkmen leader’s instructions.
During the helicopter flight President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the progress of reconstruction of roads in Ashgabat, bridges, overpasses, interchanges as well as feeder roads.
Particular attention the Turkmen leader paid to the progress of construction of the ring road around Ashgabat. The President of Turkmenistan instructed the relevant officials to take the quality of works at these complicated engineering facilities under the rigorous control as well as to take all necessary measures so that this project would be completed according to schedule and gave a number of relevant instructions.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the existing situation at the overpass under construction over the ring road nearby the Arzuv settlement.
Summing up the working trip, the Turkmen leader emphasized that the large-scale works to implement the urban development programme would be held in Ashgabat and its outskirts. The President of Turkmenistan expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the Ministry of Communal Services of Turkmenistan and Ashgabat Khyakimlik on improving and maintaining cleanness in the Turkmen capital. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the Vice Premier to take the necessary measures to fulfill the tasks set to these structures.
