Today, Caspian ecological forum completed its work in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza”. This forum organized on the initiative of Turkmenistan and under the aegis of the UNO excited particular interest and attention of the specialists-ecologists and wide world community.
Today, another session devoted to the preservation of biological diversity and rational use of biological resources of the Caspian Sea was held in the final day of the forum’s work. The meeting participants spoke on drawing up of the complex of measures aimed at preservation and augmentation of natural resources of the Caspian region. Moreover, it was determined regular steps on conduction of joint research works, study of the state of biological resources of the Caspian Sea and evaluation of its natural reserves, organization of relevant events with a view of preservation of biological diversity of unique natural reservoir.
Summing up the talk, the forum participants underlined that they consider the current meeting as major event in development of dialogue of the Caspian states in such exceptionally topical trend as ecological subject matter.
