Meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Austria in Turkmenistan Mr. Wolfgang Banay was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Discussing the realization process of earlier reached agreements, the issues of prospects of further expansion of the Turkmen-Austrian dialogue based on principles of equality and mutually beneficial cooperation were considered within the framework of the meeting.
Having spoken for stirring up of the Turkmen-Austrian cooperation within the framework of the partnership of Turkmenistan with the European Union as well as authoritative international organizations, first of all the UNO and OSCE, the meeting participants underlined the importance of closer contacts, particularly in the line of foreign-policy departments of two countries by use of already established mechanism of consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
