Two new super modern factories of Ruhabat Textile Complex – weaving and dyeing factories were put into exploitation in the foothills of Kopetdag, on the threshold of a big nationwide holiday – Neutrality Day of Turkmenistan.
Commissioning in October 2010 of the first structural subdivision – Ruhabat factory for production of qualitatively new product for the country - mixed yarn from cotton fibers and polyester in various combinations gave rise to the complex.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov thoroughly familiarizes with the production process and up-to-date high-technology equipment.
Textile complex is intended for production of 20.3 million square meters of gray woven product and 40.0 million square meters of colored high-quality fabric.
A large efficiency in raw material will be provided by own spinning mill for production of mixed yarn from cotton fibers and polyester, and cotton yarn. Annual need in it comes to 3 642 tons. Cotton fabric, being manufactured in Wekilbazar weaving factory, as well as own production will meet the demand of dye-finishing production in gray cloths.
The production in large assortment of mixed shirt, costume and camouflage fabric as well as cotton cloth – reinforce, cretonne, flannel and others will be first arranged in the shops of new textile complex.
Then, the finished products are packed and delivered to the storehouse to appear further on the cutting table of the national garment factories, particularly those, which are specialized in sewing of uniform and camouflage cloth for workers of military and law enforcement agencies as well as factories of men’s costumes and shirts, children’s cloth and bedclothes. A part of production will be exported.
The head of state familiarized with great interest with the exhibition of finished articles from cloths manufactured at new industrial giant. The largest enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry presented their products.
It is worth mentioning that besides industrial building, new facility included the rooms under storehouses for raw material and subsidiary materials as well as for finished products, complex of engineering-technical structures, sport grounds. With a view of environmental protection, it was set here the latest system of membrane purification of used water. Adjoining territory was accomplished and planted with trees and bushes.
Having completed the familiarization with new textile complex, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wrote an entry to the Book of honorable guests. The head of state congratulated again the employees of the sector on the opening and wished them successful work.
