President of Turkmenistan receives Chairman of the Japan-Turkmen Committee for economic cooperation

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov receives Chairman of the Japan-Turkmen Committee for economic cooperation, Executive Vice President of the ITOCHU Corporation Yoichi Kobayashi.

Within the framework of the meeting the Turkmen leader and his guest exchanged their views on the prospects and the ways to intensify the long-term traditional partnership in the fuel and energy sector, trading and economic sphere, chemical industry, transport, agriculture, water industry and other important areas. Particular attention was paid to the opportunities of using the experience of leading Japanese companies, steady enhance of cooperation in the sphere of education, in particular training of high-qualified specialists as well as exchange of experience in the sphere of nanotechnologies and creation of highly remunerative production.

Expressing deep gratitude for the trust, the Chairman of the Japan-Turkmen Committee for economic cooperation reaffirmed the interest of the business circles of Japan and in particular the ITOCHU Corporation in strengthening positions at the prospective Turkmen market and implementing new joint projects.

In conclusion of the meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his guest expressed belief in further intensification of the interstate cooperation that satisfies the state priorities and interests of the two friendly peoples.
