The Belarusian-Turkmen trading house established by the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan in collaboration with Belarusian partners was opened in Ashgabat. Officials of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Belarus, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan attended the opening ceremony.
As is known, the decision to open trading houses in Ashgabat and Minsk was adopted during the Turkmen-Belarusian top level talks which were held during the official visit of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Belarus last January. The talks resulted in signing the relevant Agreement between the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Belarus.
It should be noted that the Turkmen-Belarusian trading house was opened in the capital of the Republic of Belarus, Minsk. Currently, the trading house carries out the activities to promote Turkmen commodities in Belarus.
An exposition of Belarusian food and manufactured products was arranged in the shops of the Candybil shopping centre to mark the opening of the Belarusian-Turkmen trading house in Ashgabat. This event vividly evidenced the willingness of the two friendly countries to enhance fruitful cooperation.
