Session of Council of the Frame Agreement between the USA and countries of the Central Asia on development of relations in the field of trade and to investments (TIFA) opened in the Turkmen capital. In the course of the meeting of TIFA participants, the wide range of the issues connected with development of trade, in the context of improvement of investment policy and proper legislative base of the participating countries has been discussed.
The American delegation, which included the representatives of high-ranking representatives of Executive Office of the President, Department of the United States of America, Embassy of the USA in Kabul and others, was headed by the Deputy Assistant of the US Trade Representative for South and Central Asian Affairs Mara Burr.
Representative delegations of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan arrived in the Turkmen capital for participation in the session to be continued till November 14. The delegations included the members of the governments, officials of sectoral ministries and departments, social organizations, diplomatic workers and others.
Today, within the framework of the session of the Council, it was also held the round table meeting “Business in the Central Asia: Dialogue between social and private sectors about possibilities for development of business”.
