Nomination campaign in full swing in Turkmenistan

The preparations for the important political action – the 2012 presidential campaign are under way in towns and villages of the country. Public organisations and associations hold the meetings every day and citizens form initiatives groups to nominate most worthy candidates for presidency and conduct the gatherings to support their presidential nominees.

The Architects’ Union of Turkmenistan held a meeting in the conference hall of the Ministry of Construction to consider the proposal for the nomination of Head of the Lebapgurlusyk Production Association Esendurdy Gayypov as a presidential candidate. Specialist of the construction sector together with members of the abovementioned Union participated in the meeting.

The meeting participants highly evaluated E. Gayypov’s contribution to developing the construction sector and characterized his as a competent manager, who enjoyed respect of his staff and honestly performed official duties, and good family man. The meeting participants approved by vote the decision to nominate E. Gayypov as a candidate in the 2012 presidential election.

Thanking for granting the confidence, Head of the Lebapgurlusyk Production Association E. Gayypov assured that he would apply every effort and knowledge to justify it.

The relevant resolution was adopted during the meeting and submitted to the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of Turkmenistan.

An initiative group held the first meeting at Nurmuhammet Andalib Gengeshlik in Gurbansoltan Eje Etrap in Dashoguz Velayat to determine the presidential nominee for this initiative group. Citizens of towns and etraps of Dashoguz Velayat participated in the meeting.

After the initiative group leader was elected, the meeting participants considered the proposal for the nomination of Gurbansoltan Eje Etrap Khyakim Begench Meretdurdyevich Borjakov as a candidate in the 2012 presidential election.

The meeting participants characterized B. Borjakov as an experienced and initiative manager, highly qualified specialist and good family man. Highly evaluating the services and contribution which the head of the etrap administration had made to social and economic development of the region the meeting participants adopted the decision to nominate B. Borjakov as a presidential candidate.

Expressing gratitude for the nomination, Gurbansoltan Eje Etrap Khyakim B. Borjakov assured that he would spare no effort to justify the confidence local citizens had granted to him.

The minutes of meeting and the application for registration of the initiative group were submitted to the Central Commission for Election and Referenda of Turkmenistan.

The Football Federation and the Checkers National Centre of Turkmenistan held a joint meeting at the Ak Bugday Etrap Khyakimlik in Ahal Velayat to support the nomination of Head of the Nebitgazduypliabatlayis Trust of the Turkmennebit Gas Concern G. Mollanyyazov as a candidate in the presidential election. Specialists and workers of oil and gas enterprises participated in the meeting.

The chairman of the meeting presented the candidate’s biography. Whilst considering the proposal to support G. Mollanyyazov’s nomination as a presidential candidate, the meeting participants summarized the recommendations and highly evaluated the candidate’s outstanding professional and moral qualities. They characterized G. Mollynyyazov as an initiative and talented manger who had significantly contributed to developing the oil and gas industry and promoting the sport movement and adopted the decision to support Mollanyyazov’s nomination as a candidate for the 2012 presidential election.

A meeting to support the nomination of Head of the Marygazcykarys Department of the Turkmengaz State Concern Kakageldi Byashimovich Abdyllaev as a candidate in the 2012 presidential election was held at the Turkmenabat silk production association.

The chairman of the meeting presented the candidate’s biography to the participants including representatives of the Economists’ Union and the oil and gas enterprises of Lebap Velayat. Those speaking at the meeting noted that K. Abdyllaev had earned the reputation of being an initiative and talented manager, who had significantly contributed to developing the gas industry and accumulated the profound professional experience. They characterised the candidate as a good family man and kind-hearted person.

The meeting participants supported K. Abdyllaev’s nomination as a presidential candidate.
